Though the virus prevents us from gathering at 1608 Russell Road, Emmanuel’s worship life flourishes — with technological creativity and contributions from many: The Rector, the Associate for Liturgy & Hilarity, The Music Director, Choristers, Cantors, the Guitar Circle, Guest Musicians & Homilists, Staff, Seminarians, Volunteers & all of you — Parishioners worshiping in “the pews”!
In addition to Emmanuel at Home Morning Prayer, September 13th we launched outdoor worship at Virginia Seminary’s Chapel Garden! September 16th, Zoom Compline commenced on Wednesday evenings! And outdoor baptisms have also begun!

October 4th: “A Paws Pet Blessing” at the 11:30 a.m. Zoom Coffee Hour.
October 11th: “Not Quite Confirmation”: Renewal of Baptismal Vows, 5:30 p.m. on Zoom.
All told 70+ combined staff hours of faithful ministry goes into making worship happen each week!
